Our Story:

The Spice Divas Creators of BeanGreens Healthy Pet Products!

BeanGreens natural pet products were founded by Dr. Julie Kaufman and natural pet-treat maker Mea West. Together they wanted to bring dogs and horses the healthiest treats on the planet! Soon they were joined by Michelle Palminteri who is a health advocate passionate about living healthy with diabetes. The three baked and experimented until the perfect BeanGreen treat was born.  Now Dr. Julie has teamed up with holistic veterinarians and herbalists to bring a new line of BeanGreens “Shield” products so that your horse’s, dog’s and cat’s health can be protected naturally. The Shield line includes Ulcer Shield, Allergy Shield, and Joint Shield and will soon include Senior Shield, Pain Shield and Heart Shield. BeanGreens Pet treats has also branched out to include the original antioxidant Beangreens treat AND the BeanGreens “JointGrease” treats.

Michelle Palminteri is a diabetes activist who is committed to educating the world about diabetes prevention and healthy living.  Michelle has been in the entertainment business in southern California for over 30 years and brings her “west meets Midwest” magic to the operation. Michelle is the director of sales and marketing for The Spice Divas the mother company of BeanGreens. Michelle is out campaigning for a better America for people and pets through healthy living with diabetes.  Michelle will be bringing you news from the mothership where Oscar the space dog broadcasts the latest in good health and nutrition to bring you Out-of-this-world health naturally! Mea West runs a deluxe doggie motel called “Just Like Home Doggie Motel” in southern Wisconsin. Mea is a long time animal rescue advocate and natural pet-treat maker and baker.  She promotes solid nutrition and holistic veterinary care on her 10-acre dog spa. Without Mea, BeanGreens would just be a wad of “dough” in our pockets and would not have made it to the cookie sheet! Mea took Dr. Julie’s ingredient list and Michelle’s wisdom about diabetes prevention and made the magic that became the final BeanGreens recipes. Mea also promotes animal welfare and rescue along with her good friend Emmylou Harris who runs Bonaparte’s retreat in Nashville Tennessee.  Mea follows Marianne Kennedy’s natural horse-”woman”-ship and Marianne’s soulful music that promotes dog and horse welfare, partnership, and humane treatment.
